Watch This Week's Sermon!
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement
As your pastors, we are committed to protecting and caring for everyone who worships at Horizons. We, the elders, and staff have spent a lot of time in prayer and preparation for the upcoming weekend. However, considering the growing national concerns and precautions many health professionals are recommending, we will act with caution at this time by canceling our Sunday morning gatherings. Instead, we will hold our weekend services online only.
This is a great opportunity to gather in your home with your family and worship together as you watch online. We will offer two live services on Sunday at our regular times of 9:30am and 11:15am. Following the services, we will post one of those services for you to view or share at a later time.
We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide additional opportunities for us to connect as a church family should this unprecedented experience continue. We will provide additional information next week.
You can join us live on Sunday using the options below:
Since health professionals are canceling essential meetings and recommending others do as well, we will practice social distancing. This means we are canceling all other Horizons events until further notice, including Horizons Students and any Small Groups that meet on campus. We will communicate decisions on our other upcoming events as those dates approach.
For many, the spread of this virus has caused fear and anxiety. Yet we are grateful that the Bible tells us, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). This does not mean we should be careless or reactionary, but rather walk in wisdom as we serve the Lord and our community in a way that demonstrates our trust in God and our love for people. We pray that you would sense God’s peace during these difficult circumstances. We love you and are praying for each person’s continued safety and well-being as well as for all those who have already been affected by this virus. We’re also praying for a cure from heaven and for our medical community as they deal with the impact of this crisis.

God bless you all!
